VERP, an acronym for Voice-Engine, Reframing, and Playpen, represents three distinct development approaches with a shared mission: elevating underrepresented female voices in Film and High-End Television (HETV). The core focus of VERP is to empower individuals who have been stereotyped or portrayed as victims on screen. This mission takes on added significance in the era of AI-generated content, which relies on existing patterns and data. While AI may struggle to create truly original and groundbreaking narratives, it can't unearth unheard voices without pre-existing content. Therefore, VERP's secondary goal is to counter the growing influence of AI in screenwriting and promote diversity and inclusivity in storytelling, particularly for women.
